Goodwin Prototyping NZ Ltd is an engineering company that specializes in the design and prototyping of mechanical based products. We use the latest in 3D CAD Design Programs. We have a workshop facility in which we can make a large range of prototypes for the customer. We can also offer the option of mass production assembly lines.Goodwin Prototyping is a relatively new company which started in 2007 and consist of Ross Collings, Richard Collings and Eric Collings.

Richard Collings has a Diploma in Product Design & Development Engineering and worked as a designer for SPEL for about 4 years designing fire appliances, transport vehicles etc. During this time he expanded his skills in designing and prototyping a number of different products. He also has done design work for defense companies and can design and make just about anything.

Ross Collings has a Trade Certificate in Toolmaking which he did at Agmar Tools. He is also a specialist Gunsmith who worked under his father Din Collings at Collings & Brady in Karori for a number of years. He was involved in the design and development of the Goodwin Action, Kiwi Trigger,and Goodwin Target Stock.

Eric Collings has previously studied Mathmatical Physics at Massey University, has been trained on 3DCAD designing, and is our mathematical wiz.
