Goodwin Prototyping NZ Ltd was started in 2007 by brothers Richard and Eric Collings. Goodwin is an engineering company that specializes in the design and prototyping of mechanical based products. We use the latest in 3D CAD Design Programs. We have a workshop facility in which we can make a large range of prototypes for the customer, including custom anodized finishes.

Richard Collings has a Diploma in Product Design & Development Engineering and worked as a design engineer with SPEL for 4 years designing fire appliances, transport vehicles, and defence projects. During this time he expanded his skills in designing and prototyping a number of different products.

Eric Collings has previously studied Mathmatical Physics at Massey University, has been trained on 3D CAD designing, and is our mathematical wiz. After building for several years Eric has developed skills as a very competent gunsmith and machinist.
